Nashville Live Streaming

Welcome to our weekly series, 10 Tips for Creating a Successful Webcast. We will be posting a tip every Friday for the next 10 weeks! If you ever have any questions about webcasting or live streaming, please feel free to visit our webcasting page or contact us

Tip 2: Pick a Platform

There are hundreds of options for choose from when it comes to live streaming platforms, it can be very overwhelming! The first step is to figure out what features you want to include in your webcast. What do we mean by features? We’re talking about things like chat capabilities, surveys, breakout rooms, event registration, sponsors, custom branding etc.! The more features, the more robust of a platform you need. Once you know what features you’d like your platform to have, then begin your platform search. When it comes to the technical aspects of a platform’s live stream capabilities, it is best to reach out to a company like StagePost, to see if your platform is going to provide you with everything you need for a successful live webcast. Below are some of our favorite platforms, they range from virtual conference platforms to webinar platforms.

  • Attendify
  • Big Marker
  • Brandlive
  • GoToWebinar
  • Hubb
  • Microsoft Teams
  • On24
  • Samba
  • Vimeo
  • Vodayo (A platform created by yours truly, StagePost)
  • Whova
  • Zoom
